"Spanish Pointer" is a recognized masterpiece of dog engraving. George
Stubbs is hardly rivalled in history as an artist of sporting animals, particularly
horses. However his genius transferred easily to any subject he chose. Wollett's superb
interpretive craftsmanship perfectly conveys the underlying sense of the work.
